Filmmaker Eduardo del Llano announced on Monday that he was withdrawing from the social network Facebook: “It’s not so easy for me to get charged anymore,” he said.
“I’m bringing you news that will be good for some, not so much for others. I will not keep posting on Facebook, I’m going to fuck this,” said del Llano in what appears to be his latest appearance on social media. network.
On the one hand, my personal circumstances have changed, it’s not that easy for me to get reloads, it’s not that it’s impossible, it’s just that it’s gotten harder. That just implies why I’m doing it today, not because I’m doing it in general. I’m tired of this shit, ”he claimed.
The filmmaker said there is a group of people who follow his publications with respect and attention, who may agree or disagree, but in which he always generates healthy debates. But “usually I think I’m throwing margaritas on the pigs and I’m bored of it.”
“I’m also really done with people saying that on both sides I’m trying to look good, swimming between two waters, that I’m bipolar. I consider myself one of the freest people on Facebook and on the internet. it really. what i think on one side and the other, i say what’s wrong on one side and the other, “he added.
“ Most of the pack on the other bank, I’m not saying they are paid by the CIA, some will be, but in their anger at giving the latest news they are simply putting one side of the truth down and for them Cuba is just an endless sum of scarcity and repression, ”said the filmmaker.
He also acknowledged that cyber clarity is at the service of the Cuban government, which justifies everything and everything seems okay, responding to an agenda.
“I don’t respond to an agenda, I say in both places what I think is good or bad. My sympathy is with the left, but I don’t justify everything that is done in the name of the left,” he said.
“For those who say that I am trying to look good with the system and the government to get benefits, I can guarantee that what is accomplished with this is that they hate you from both places. see with both sides I’m doing pretty badly. I’m just saying what I think, I’m not going to be guided by an agenda and say what’s right and what’s wrong. ”added.
Del Llano said people think the world is divided between countries that are living well and Cuba. “If that were the case, believe me I would be more rabid than the people of San Isidro, and believe me that says a lot.”
Finally the filmmaker said, “I’m tired of this nonsense, I’m a writer and a filmmaker.”
Eduardo del Llano claimed he would focus on his work as a maker. “I’m going to continue my work and you can post your Facebook where it suits.”
The Cuban filmmaker, author of Nicanor O’Donnell’s series of short films, has been a controversial figure in social networks lately for his ongoing defense of the island’s political system.
Given the culture minister’s violent behavior with young artists, del Llano recently said some what happened was a “nonsense” that it does not deserve to be classified as “oppression, terror and dictatorship”.
On another occasion, the filmmaker said so supports what the people were against the Cuban regime they call ‘the bloody Castro dictatorship’.
