It was rumored that ZTE Axon 30 Pro 5G could have a 200MP main camera

According to a tipster called WHYLAB, posted on Weibo, the ZTE Axon 30 Pro 5G will feature a new sensor from Samsung that has yet to be announced; the sensor can support 200MP main camera. The component, called “S5KGND”, has a pixel size of 0.64 µm micron (compared to 0.8 micron on the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G), supports 16K recording and can include dual pixel binning modes that provide 4-1 binning and 16-1 binning to deliver 50MP and 12.5MP images respectively.
We’ve seen a number of teasers, including one that shows what the outline of the camera bump on the Axon 30 Pro 5G could be. The second teaser, reportedly posted on Weibo by a ZTE representative, reveals that the phone will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset. The teaser shows information about the Spectra 580 ISP that comes with the top of the range 5nm Snapdragon SoC. It includes a triple ISP and can take three 28MP photos at the same time. The Spectra 580 supports 200 MP cameras, 4K HDR video, and helps power a seemingly advanced photography system on the handset.

At the moment, there is no word when we could see the ZTE Axon 30 Pro 5G officially become. We’ll keep an eye on Weibo and keep our ears low to the ground to see what information we can come up with. As soon as we hear more news on the phone, we will get it right to you.
