Save these under Answers to questions no one asked – apparently it only takes 18 minutes and 51 seconds to Fallout 3 to eat a baby in one of the extensions. Speedrunners, folks.

Tomatoanus is one known Fallout speedrunner with different records under his belt, but he also spends time entertaining viewers on Twitch and YouTube with goals like seeing how fast he can Mama Murphy overdosed in Fallout 4 and have sex in it Cyberpunk 2077Requires his latest stunt Fallout 3 extension The Pitt, which introduced the game’s only baby in Baby Marie, and a mod known as’Obtained immunityWhich means characters with the Cannibal perk eats that baby and gains her natural resistance to radiation.

You can probably see where this is going.

In the video above, Tomatoanus provides a business-like explanation of how he eats Baby Marie. This means leaving the game opening in Vault 101 as an adult (instead of cutting out as a toddler or teen like a regular Fallout 3 speedrun), jump off a cliff to get one bug that speeds up its movement, and with the help of a Technic to make the game think his character has reached level 12 so he can get the Cannibal advantage.

From there, it’s just a matter of Tomatoanus rushing to Baby Marie and chewing down to finish the run with less than 19 minutes of hair. Of course, the time would be shorter without some nonsensical design rules that Tomatanus slaps on the start of the speedrun, such as hitting a random NPC or an alien corpse’s tea bag. But these requirements (and the video itself, for that matter) have a bigger point to make about creating and participating in non-traditional speedrun categories.

“You can also do this run without meeting any of these requirements,” explains Tomatanus. “It is very unlikely that this run will ever receive an official classification speedrun.com and I have no interest in ever having one. Leaderboards are not required to do speed runs. If there’s a run that you think would be fun or funny, go ahead and do it. Don’t worry whether or not others consider it a legitimate category. “

Hell yeah, Tomatoñus.
