In the video above, Tomatoanus provides a business-like explanation of how he eats Baby Marie. This means leaving the game opening in Vault 101 as an adult (instead of cutting out as a toddler or teen like a regular Fallout 3 speedrun), jump off a cliff to get one bug that speeds up its movement, and with the help of a Technic to make the game think his character has reached level 12 so he can get the Cannibal advantage.
From there, it’s just a matter of Tomatoanus rushing to Baby Marie and chewing down to finish the run with less than 19 minutes of hair. Of course, the time would be shorter without some nonsensical design rules that Tomatanus slaps on the start of the speedrun, such as hitting a random NPC or an alien corpse’s tea bag. But these requirements (and the video itself, for that matter) have a bigger point to make about creating and participating in non-traditional speedrun categories.
