Iron Man & Wonder Man feature in new trailer for Marvel’s first adult animated series

Hulu has released a new trailer for the upcoming one MODOK animated series, with Patton Oswalt as the titular supervillain from Marvel Comics.

The stop-motion animated comedy is the brainchild of Oswalt and EP / showrunner Jordan Blum, who wanted to delve into what a ‘Mobile Organism Designed Only for Killing’ was doing in its downtime when not fighting The Avengers and striving for world domination .

We found that out some big names would provide the voices for several established Marvel Comics characters last month, and this latest teaser for the show gives us a first glimpse of Iron Man (Jon Hamm) opposite MODOK, and Wonder Man (Nathan Fillion) making the moves on the long-suffering wife of the villain.

The series will focus on the self-obsessed supervillain MODOK (Patton Oswalt), who has’ long pursued his dream of one day taking over the world. But after years of setbacks and failures in the fight against Earth’s most powerful heroes, MODOK has ousted his evil organization AIM as the leader of AIM, while also dealing with his crumbling marriage and family life, the Mental Organism Designed Only for Killing ready to take on its biggest challenge yet! “

In addition to Fillion and Hamm, MODOK Whoopi Goldberg (The Stand, Ghost) as Poundcakes and Bill Hader (It: Chapter 2, SNL) as Angar the Screamer and The Leader.

Marvel’s first foray into the world of adult animation also stars Wendi McLendon-Covey (The Goldbergs) as Monica, Beck Bennett (SNL) as Austin Van Der Sleet, Jon Daly (Kroll Show) as Super-Adaptoid, Aimee Garcia (Match) as MODOK’s wife Jodie, Ben Schwartz (Parks and recreation) as his eccentric son Lou, and Melissa Fumero (Brooklyn Nine-Nine) as his daughter Melissa, who shares her father’s unique aura.
