Independiente and Club América reach an agreement to pay the debt

Independiente de Avellaneda and Club América have already reached an agreement to pay off the debt for the transfers of Silvio Romero and Cecilio Domínguez, which amounts to 6.2 million dollars that the Argentinian club will pay in 4 installments.

According to the Super Deportivo media, América has accepted Independiente’s proposal and will receive the first payment within 45 days.

The debt will be paid off in 4 installments and the final payment will be at the end of 2022, so the Coapa club was very condescending to the Argentine club, intending to liquidate the account.

Thus, after receiving the first payment, America will sign the commitment letter with the agreement with Independiente, as 3 years of demands and false promises have already passed.

This is how the payments will be

  • 1) Initial installment of USD 1.7 in 45 days.
  • 2) Second term of USD 1.5 (end of 2021).
  • 3) Third installment 1.5 USD (2022).
  • 4) Fourth term USD 1.5 (end of 2022).
