With 22 minutes to go, the first free practice session in Imola (Italy) was interrupted with a red flag due to the damage sustained by the cars of Esteban Ocon and Sergio Pérez.
Esteban Ocon’s car was damaged at the front right and ‘Checo’ Pérez at the rear left, but both drivers started under their own steam.

The drivers will return to the track to complete the second free practice, which will also last an hour at the Enzo and Dino Ferrari Autodrome.
