In Chivas they are “jealous” of the talent of Antuna and Alexis Vega

They haven’t had the best tournaments with Chivas, but Alexis Vega and Uriel Antuna have positioned themselves as two of the best players the Under-23 Mexican National Team has that plays in the Concacaf Pre-Olympic Tournament.

Both players were key pieces for the “Tri” to march at perfect pace in their quest for a ticket to the Olympics, and despite not performing in the same way with Guadalajara, within the rojiblanco they accept that they are not surprised by the level of their players, and even accept that Vega and Antuna are envious.

“Nobody doubts their quality, both Antuna and Alexis, they are players who have been selected for something. They have a talent that we are very jealous of, jealous of the good. However, if the team isn’t doing well individually, it doesn’t look good either.

“We may not have worked collectively to help them more, on our part giving them more options to generate,” said Guadalajara captain Jesús Molina.

In the last match between Mexico and Costa Rica, Uriel Antuna and Alexis Vega teamed up with each scoring a goal in Tri’s triumph over the representative Tico. Now next Wednesday, the team, led by Jaime Lozano, will take on the United States.
