“I don’t see it as a crime,” says a caravan organizer who stopped traffic on the Las Américas Express

The organizer of the event, which is said to have gathered dozens of motorcyclists on the Las Américas highway yesterday, went to the public to apologize for blocking the traffic. However, he assured it was not an illegal event.

Joleyxson Martínez Rodríguez, known as “Mezclita,” spoke to Noticentro and pointed out that he “showed his face” to “accept my mistakes as a bad decision.

The man, who knows the police are looking for him, was in charge of the “Remote Wheelie” contest that paralyzed the flow of cars at a point near Centro Doctor yesterday, Sunday after 2pm.

Martínez Rodríguez told the media that although he was the organizer, he had not issued instructions to block the road.

“The police saw us. Why don’t the police do anything? Because we have helmets, we have gloves, we have a label, we meet the requirement. I don’t see this is a crime. On my behalf, I’m going back and tell the people of Puerto Rico I apologize, ”he said.

When asked if a mass convocation was not in violation of the current Executive Order, “Mezclita” said they were not late and that he did not know how many people attended the event.
