How Trump and Biden Spend Christmas Day

Oh Christmas t-shirt, oh Christmas t-shirt.

President Trump spent Christmas Day doing what he does best, hitting the links at his Trump International Golf Course in Palm Beach, Florida, where he will celebrate the holiday season.

The president arrived just before 10am on Christmas morning with Senator Lindsey Graham of South Carolina, one of his best allies and golf partners.

But Trump was also photographed with a much rarer companion: reading glasses.

The clothed commander-in-chief, 74, was snapped into the Beast’s back with Graham, wearing his signature ‘Make America Great Again’ cap and glasses.

Later Friday, the president announced that he would maintain a virtual address for service workers serving abroad.

“We are now going to make a short speech to service representatives around the world,” Trump tweeted shortly before 3 pm

“It’s a celebration of Christmas. Video Conference – Fake News Not Invited! he added.

Meanwhile, President-elect Joe Biden was also back where he spent most of 2020: in his Wilmington, Del., Bolthole with his wife Jill Biden.

Biden’s transition team called off at 9 a.m., meaning the former livestock will not be making any Christmas trips.

In their holiday message released Friday morning, the president-elect and his wife acknowledged that they would spend the holiday alone – skipping the Christmas Eve dinner they usually receive for as many as 25 family members.

“We will miss our family, but it is what we need to do to keep our family safe,” said Biden.

“We hope you consider limiting travel and the size of family gatherings this year as well.”

Before leaving Washington, Trump vetoed a $ 740 billion defense bill and declined to sign a $ 2.3 trillion COVID-19 emergency relief and funding bill.

It is unclear when he will return to the White House, although he is expected to return to Washington on New Year’s Day.
