A draw was held to match the teams, provided that Barcelona and Real Madrid do not meet in the semi-finals.
The tournament, which was played in Saudi Arabia last season, but due to the coronavirus pandemic, will be played in Andalusia. The semi-finals are in Córdoba and Málaga and the final will be played in the Estadio de la Cartuja in Seville.
This edition marks the return of the tournament to Spain after the penultimate edition was played in Tangier and the 2020 edition in Saudi countries, where Real Madrid were declared champions.
So if Barcelona and Real Madrid win the semi-finals, a new trophy will be played on Sunday with the Spanish Classic in between.
