In the typical fashion of CD Projekt Red, Cyberpunk 2077 is a game with a number of different endings. These endings all come about depending on the choices you make during your own playthrough, but none of them are too difficult to unlock. That said, there is one specific “secret” ending that players can get, although you’ll have to jump through a few hoops to get through it.
To view the secret that ends in Cyberpunk 2077, you’ll have to complete a handful of specific dialogue options in the ‘Chippin’ In ‘side mission. This is a quest that you will not unlock until later in the game, but it is vital that you do this before moving on to the main quest “Nocturne Op55N1”. If you do this final quest first, you won’t be able to unlock the ending in question.
Once you unlock Chippin ‘In and start the mission, you will go to an oil field with Johnny Silverhand. After a few parts of the gameplay, you start a conversation with Johnny. This is when things become vital. To make sure you unlock the secret ending, you need to select the options: “The man who saved my life”, “No, you ruined that too”, “What do you want from me?” and finally: “OK. But if the second chance goes, this is your last. “I’m not going to spoil what this conversation is all about, just make sure you select these prompts when they are presented.

After this series of dialog options, you will be presented with a few more speaking options. To be on the safe side, you want to respond with, “You were a real bastard in the beginning”, “When you said you were leaving your friends …”, “Smasher biz really hit her,” And finally: ” Yes, I’ll call Rogue. ”From here you should unlock the next side mission entitled“ Blistering Love ”.
Once you’ve done all of this, make sure to complete Blistering Love with Rogue. Upon completion you can go to Nocturne Op55N1 to complete the game. Once you get to the part of this mission where you talk to Johnny on a rooftop, you must choose to take Johnny into battle with Rogue in Arasaka Tower. Johnny will then ask if you are participating, but you do not have to respond immediately. After waiting a few minutes, he will give you the choice to just go to Arasaka Tower and battle it out with the two of you – select this option.
From here, the rest of the game is simple to an extent. The final mission of the game, called “Don’t Fear The Reaper”, only gives you one chance to complete it. If you die during this quest, the game is over for good and the credits start to roll. So before heading out, make sure you have all your best gear with you and possibly create a backup file just in case you fail.
And it should be! Good luck if you can complete all of this and see the secret end of the game to the end.
