The fire department said a family in an apartment complex in the 8500 block of Easton Commons Drive reportedly tried to heat their unit with a charcoal grill.
The circumstances of the individuals involved were not immediately disclosed.

In the aftermath of the incident, firefighters are reminding people of the dangers of carbon monoxide poisoning, especially as the area plunges deeper into extremely cold temperatures.
“Remember never to heat your home with a grill or oven,” the fire brigade tweeted. “Remember never to run a generator or grill in your home. They produce carbon monoxide, a deadly, colorless and odorless gas.”
