PS5, PS4 sequel is the focus
It is seemingly all hands on deck at Guerrilla Games while the Dutch studio tries to complete the development of Horizon Forbidden West from home. The team has confirmed in a new blog post that patches and updates for the PC version of Horizon Zero Dawn will henceforth be less frequent to ensure that the big budget sequel is ready for final launch on both PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4. That is currently scheduled. will take place somewhere this year.
The message reads, “As our team continues development of our upcoming Horizon Forbidden West title, we will move to less frequent updates to Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition for PC after this patch. Please note that as always, we will continue to keep following.! ”This follows in the wake of countless PC patches that brought the gateway to snuff. Now that it’s in good shape, Guerrilla Games’ attention turns to Horizon Forbidden West. While it has probably always been the priority – it simply means that even more employees can now devote their time to development and polish. We’re not entirely convinced that the game will hit its 2021 release date, but it looks like the developer is doing their very best to make sure that happens.
