And you thought your last move was difficult!
The owners of a 138-year-old Victorian home rolled it through the hilly streets of San Francisco on its way to a new address.
The big green six-bedroom house from 1882 was loaded on giant dollies and paraded six blocks through the Golden Gate City from Franklin Street to Fulton Street, incredible images from ABC7.
A bunch of amused onlookers lined the sidewalks to watch the 1 mph procession.
The first part of the journey involved navigating one of the city’s infamous hills.
“It’s always difficult for a house,” said mover Phil Joy.
Joy had to obtain permits from more than 15 city agencies, while the homeowner coughed up $ 400,000 in fees and moving expenses to relocate the historic home, according to the San Francisco Chronicle.
To make room for the roll-up house, parking meters were torn, tree branches were pruned and traffic signs moved.
At the old location, the house was estimated to be worth about $ 5 million, according to Zillow.
A building with 60 apartments will soon be built on the now empty site.
