The last update we got Bayonetta 3 was back in August, when series creator Hideki Kamiya said development was going well. So what’s the latest on this highly anticipated Switch exclusive?
Japanese video game outlet Famitsu recently spoke with Kamiya in a year-end interview looking ahead to 2021, once again taking the opportunity to raise concerns surrounding the development of the third entry.
This is exactly what he had to say, which also happens to be a “copy” of his commentary from last year …
First, many people are concerned Bayonetta 3 as there is no new information since the announcement, but the verifications of new systems have been excellent and development is going very well, so please wait with peace of mind. (This is a copy of my 2020 comment.) “
At the very end of this answer he also mentioned how his Others upcoming title Project GG was finally underway, telling the fans “please look forward to it”.
