The Department of Health (DS) reported 10 additional deaths from Covid-19 in its daily report today, adding a total of 1,771 fatalities from the virus on the island since the start of the pandemic. The 10 deceased are between 61 and 96 years old.
In addition, the DS reported 1605 new positive cases to Covid-19, for samples taken between January 7 and January 21 of this year. Of that total number of new cases, 687 are confirmed by molecular testing, 164 are probable cases by antigen testing, and the remaining 754 cases are suspected.
