In a release on Friday, the Allegheny County Health Department said the clinic will open Tuesday at Castle Shannon Fire Department Banquet Hall on Library Road. Officials stress that no on-site registration or walk-up appointments are allowed.
“Anyone who arrives at the site without an appointment, or who is not 65 or older, will be expelled,” the Allegheny County Health Department said in a press release.

People aged 65 and older can register online for an appointment from Saturday at 9:00 am. Telephone registration is possible from Tuesday 9:00 am by calling 2-1-1.
“Links will be posted on the health department’s COVID-19 Vaccine Information website at that time and sent through Allegheny Alerts,” the online registration release said.
“Appointments over the phone are for people who do not have access to a computer or the Internet or who have difficulty navigating the online registration system and will be reserved for callers who meet those criteria,” the release added.
