“He did not follow the treatment.” Widow of Former Garibaldi Member Reveals Reasons for Artist’s Death | News from El Salvador

Nearly five months after Xavier Ortíz’s death, Carisa de León assured that the singer was setting aside his drugs for depression.

Carisa de León, former partner of former Garibaldi member Xavier Ortíz, had access to the research folder about the Mexican star’s death and revealed that he was on medication because of depression, but stopped taking his medication.

“He does not expect to see what I saw … I cannot comment on it, because it is very shocking to see such a map,” De León assured the morning program “Hoy”.

“In the toxicological tests it comes out completely clean, the treatment he received was not undertaken,” he confessed. For her, that was the main cause of his death. “I don’t think I have followed the treatment,” he explained. Plus, he added that while it sounds painful, those maps helped him get a fuller picture of what was going on in the past few days.

Carisa also mentions Xavier’s tough struggle with the depression, trying to cheer himself up. He said, “Today, just for today, today I really want it.”

“WhatsApp conversations were attached where he was getting worse and he mentioned it with his friend Manuel who was a great support… he (Xavier) said he was sad and lacked the courage of many things,” said De León.
