Twitch streamer Hasan ‘HasanAbi’ Piker has stepped in to defend Mizkif amid controversy over the allegations of racism against 4Conner.
The incident involving Twitch streamer 4Conner is just the latest controversy in the world of Twitch drama. On February 20, 4Conner leaked chat logs from previous conversations, exposing racist, sexist, homophobic and transphobic comments.
In the aftermath since then, 4Conner announced that he would be leaving Twitch for the foreseeable future, and apologized for his actions. Mizkif, who had worked with 4Conner in the past, announced that he had banished the disgraced streamer from his home.
On Hasan’s stream, a viewer accused Mizkif of being “just like” 4Conner. “He better just hide it,” they said.

4Conner apologized after abusive messages he sent were leaked.
Hasan supports Mizkif
The comment sparked a passionate response from Hasan, who said in his experience that Mizkif had never behaved inappropriately.
“So here it is,” he said. “I don’t know his background, I don’t know what he’s done in the past, but because of all the interactions I’ve had with Mizkif, and I talk to him now and then, he’s not like that at all.
“I don’t know if people try to hold on and turn it into extra drama. Maybe he was a total loser back in the day.
“But from what I’ve seen, either because of his success with Twitch, or because he’s really matured a little bit and started getting better. He doesn’t look like that at all.”
Mizkif has previously criticized his actions for his association with controversial streamer Ice Poseidon, and was banned from Twitch in 2019 for “ inappropriate ” comments at an event. But since then, he’s only been banned once: for accidentally showing naked on stream.
Hasan also condemned 4Conner’s comments on the Discord channel.
“I like sharp humor,” he said. ‘But this is the bottom most of the running dogs ***. You just go for shock value by saying super racist s *** in the hope that people around you will respond.
“All you’re going to do is attract really awful people who aren’t funny either.”
Whether Twitch will officially take action on 4Conner is still unclear. Twitch’s policy leaves room for them to take action against streamers for their words and actions outside of the platform itself, and other streamers have been penalized for comments on other social media.
