Halo Infinite Developer is stuffing new rumors, and some Xbox fans are not happy about it

Halo infinite Developer 343 Industries has quelled the latest rumor that the game is making the rounds, displeasing many Xbox fans in the process. When Halo infinite releases Holiday 2021, will do so through Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and PC. However, a recent rumor claimed that when the sci-fi first-person shooter comes out next year, it will only be for three of the aforementioned four platforms.

In case you missed it, a developer’s LinkedIn page made the rounds this week to exclude Xbox One from the list of platforms the game is in development for. In other words, it looked at the time that the Xbox One version of the game might have been canned.

John Junyszek, a community manager at 343 Industries, responded to this speculation and shot it as false. Junyszek doesn’t go into the details, but there is little room to doubt the definiteness of the answer, which was made when someone on Twitter asked the community manager if it was true that the Xbox One version was canned.

While Xbox One players who aren’t quick to make the jump to Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S will be delighted to know that the last-gen version of the game isn’t canned, many hardcore Xbox fans were actually disappointed by the Junyszek’s answer, citing the resources it wastes, the game being held back by the Xbox One, and the hypothetical development issues posed by the piece of old hardware.

Halo infinite is in development for the Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PC and is expected to be released sometime during Holiday 2021, that is, sometime between October and December 2021.
