Halo 3 received its last official new card all the way in 2009, as part of the Mythic II Map Pack releaseNow 343 Industries has announced that a new card was first used in Hello online, will be added to the next round of Master Chief Collection Beta testing.

In a blog post released today on Halo waypoint, 343 announced a new flight lap for the Master Chief CollectionFlighting is a series of limited beta tests for specific players. Thus, 343 tests new, upcoming features and changes. 343 says the new round of beta testing, including the new one Halo 3 card, could start as early as February 18th.

This new card comes out Hello online, a now-closed online spin-on Halo developed by Saber Interactive built with a modified version of it Halo 3 motor. Released only in Russia in 2015 via closed beta and no longer updated fans have tried mod Hello online and make it playable worldwide, but Microsoft has opposed these effortsMany fans have also asked for take-out Hello online cards in MCC, and now 343 has done it.

Based on a screenshot in the post, the new map looks like a human military base in some icy glaciers. While 343 says this will be “a new card for Halo 3 from Halo Online”, looking at Hello online Cards, it doesn’t quite match the cards that appeared in the hatch deck. It doesn’t look like any of the so-called either canceled cards that have never been added Hello online before it shuts down. However, the URL for the screenshot included in the blog post the name “Waterfall”, which mentions one has been canceled Hello online Map with ice cold concept art. But which card this actually is remains a mystery. But it’s exciting to get a new card for one of the best shooters ever made.

There’s more to be excited about with this upcoming one MCC Updating. The Master Chief Collection gets a good server browser. Consider how much content is packaged MCC, it can be difficult to find a specific match using the standard matchmaking tools. Being able to scroll through a list of servers to find people playing Lockout Swords 24/7 at 3am sounds perfect.

I’m also pleased that the FOV slider on Xbox Series X will soon be operating in 120Hz mode, and that FOV sliders will be added to all Xbox versions of the game. FOV sliders for everyone!
