A beta version of the upcoming Guilty Gear Pursue is currently being explored by the fighting game community and, surprise, someone has already discovered an infinite combo.
The very normal Giovanna is a newcomer to the Guilty material universe, but she and her ghostly wolf make their presence known with a simple loop that can keep opponents locked in a combo ad nauseum. While it doesn’t look like much and quickly loses its damage potential, players can certainly use this to play on the clock for a timeout win.
Hate, a well-known combo video maker in the fighting game community, says the timing is pretty strict on this infinite. They could only practice this after hours.
Guilty Gear Pursue is still in beta testing ahead of its official release on April 9. Fighting games are absolutely at their best when such nonsense exists, but I’d be surprised when this infinite makes it to the final game. Still, it’s a fun thing that players can mess with for now.
