The second most searched search on Google was ‘Binod’. People started sharing memes with the hashtag #Binod in August.

The viral trend was started by a YouTube user named Binod Tharu who wrote his first name in the comment section of a YouTube channel.

Content creators and other creative minds soon started sharing memes with the word ‘Binod’.
At the beginning of the year, massive protests in India raged about the new Citizenship Amendment Act.

Data shared by the American multinational shows that people were also looking ‘colon infection’, after the disease ended Irrfan Khan’s life.

It is characterized by inflammation of the inner lining of the colon. More than 16 lakh Indians searched for the infection.
The ‘ Solar Eclipse ‘ on June 21 is also listed on Google Search in India.

The solar eclipse occurs when the moon is between the sun and the earth. The ‘ring of fire’ attracts millions of stargazers.
‘NRC’ or National Register of Citizens was also something Indians looked for this year.
