Green Bay Packers 2021 NFL draft trading value charts

The Green Bay Packers enter the 2021 NFL draft with 10 tips – one original pick in each round plus compensating tips in the fourth, fifth and sixth rounds.

During his first three drafts, Brian Gutekunst, Packers General Manager, has been actively moving the board up and down to target specific players or build capital. With 10 tips in 2021, he will likely be active for a fourth consecutive draw.

The Jimmy Johnson trade value chart can be used (and used) by teams to determine draft pick value. There are other ways to measure value, but here’s the individual trade value of the Packers’ 10 picks using the Johnson model:

According to Tankathon, the Packers are entering the 2021 draft that ranks 25th in the NFL in design capital.

Here’s an example of a transaction using the Johnson model. Let’s just say the Packers want to trade with the Indianapolis Colts at No. 21 overall. The difference between the # 21 and # 29 overall picks is 160 points. At the very least, the Packers would probably have to offer their third round (132 points) before the Colts would consider the offer.
