Grand Theft Auto Rumor Hints at GTA San Andreas Remake

A new Grand Theft Auto rumors mainly about it GTA 6 makes the rounds within the GTA community, and while the rumor is mainly about GTA 6 and what’s going on with its development seemingly teases that Rockstar Games has something in the works Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. Sadly, the rumor doesn’t reveal much else, but it does suggest it’s related to the game’s upcoming birthday.

The rumor comes from an anonymous source and raises some red flags, but it’s making the rounds and getting picked up, and more interesting it is after last month’s rumor, from slightly more credible sources, that claimed that Rockstar Games isn’t just working on a remaster of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, but Vice City and GTA 3 remasters too.

What is unclear, however, is why the rumor is calling the game’s birthday as if that explains why Rockstar Games wants to revive Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas in one way or another. The game’s anniversary isn’t until October, and even then it’s the game’s 17-year anniversary, which would be a pretty random anniversary to celebrate.

For now, take everything here with a huge grain of salt, since nothing here is official and it’s riddled with speculation. In fact, the rumor itself would be much less remarkable if it weren’t coming based on last month’s rumor claiming something similar.

At the time of publication, Rockstar Games has not commented on this rumor in any capacity and is unlikely to change as the company has a very strict “no comment” policy when it comes to rumors. However, if this changes we will update the story accordingly.
