“As Florida recovers and relaunches its economy, I am committed to making every available resource available to assist Floridians and local communities in their endeavors,” the order said on Tuesday.

The expansion maintained Jared Moskowitz, director of the Emergency Management Department, as coordinator of the state’s response to the pandemic.

With an initial draft issued on March 9, DeSantis orders enabled the governor to provide funds for supplies, equipment and personnel as needed, allow medical professionals to practice out of state in Florida, and allow pharmacists to prescribe up to 30 days. emergency refills of prescription medications.
