When it comes to the iconic Batman characters we’ll be seeing Gotham Knights, there is still very little developer WB Games Montreal has shown us. The main cast features Robin, Nightwing, Batgirl and Red Hood, of course, but when it comes to villains, we haven’t seen too many. That said, the developers behind the game may have just hinted at us as to an iconic villain who could appear in the final game.
To the officer Gotham Knights Twitter account recently shared a new image to wish potential players happy holidays. While this may just have seemed like a nice gesture from the development team, the photo shown may contain some possible hints when it comes to what fans can expect from Gotham Knights. While a possible release date may be plagued in this image, it also mentions a location often associated with the Poison Ivy character.

For those of you who don’t know, Robinson Park is an iconic Gotham location that used to be home to Poison Ivy. Specifically in the No man’s land comic book series, Poison Ivy eventually took over the location as her own. The photo WB Games Montreal shared specifically mentions Robinson Park, which then of course leads us to believe that Poison Ivy could be somehow involved in the game’s story.
This can be a bit of a reach, of course, so take this information with a good grain of salt. That said, Poison Ivy does appear in Gotham Knights wouldn’t be too shocking. The formidable Batman foe has appeared in several other video games over the years, including Batman Arkham Asylum, Arkham Knight, and Injustice 2.
As for the villains we know will appear, WB Games Montreal has already teased the Court of Owls in the debut trailer for Gotham Knights. A subsequent gameplay demo also revealed that Mr. Freeze is also involved. However, no other villains have been shown in the project outside of this group.
Fortunately, it won’t be long before we start hearing more about it Gotham Knights as the game’s release arrives in the new year. For now, Gotham Knights is scheduled to launch on an indefinite date in 2021 and will appear on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S and PC.
