GOP Ohio Senate nominee asked to leave RNC retreat

Josh Mandel (R), Ohio Senate candidate, was escorted from the grounds on Friday during a donor retreat hosted by the Republican National Committee (RNC). Axios reported.

Sources told Axios that Mandel was asked to leave because he was not a major donor. Mandel was given the opportunity to speak with Republican donors before being asked to leave.

The sponsored event took place at the Four Seasons Resort in Palm Beach, Florida.

Former Ohio GOP Chair Jane Timken (R) was listed as a major donor to the weekend event.
