Do you want to make your own Christmas song? You can do this with yet another creative AI offering from Google. Known as Blob Opera, it is a machine learning powered tool that can turn your ideas into opera inspired sounds.
Here’s what it looks like in action.
The Google Arts and Culture team explained https://blog.google/outreach-initiatives/arts-culture/create-festive-song-blob-opera/:
This experiment pays tribute to and explores the original musical instrument: the voice. We developed a machine learning model trained on the voices of four opera singers to create an engaging experiment for everyone regardless of musical ability. […] With the resulting experiment you can play Blob Opera and change pitch and vowel sounds to create your own composition.
Blob Opera is meant to be fun and something you can do to spice up the holidays. If you’d rather not do a lot of work, Google says “The Blobs” can just play an operatic rendition of classics like Jingle Bell.
The Arts and Culture theme has also shared new holiday-themed virtual coloring books. You can find them if you use Google “Christmas”, “Kwanzaa” or other winter vacations. Outside of Art and Culture, Googe’s Santa Tracker is back online, now with a masked Santa and Mrs. Claus. Assistant can now also help you with Christmas questions such as ‘what’s happening in the North Pole’.

However, if you’re interested in other creative ML projects from Google, the company recently shared two comments. One of these is Verse by Verse AI, a tool intended to help people channel their inner poet by emulating classic greats. The other turns your random doodles into 3D monsters. They’re not as Christmasy as these, but they’re all just as cool.
