Giants’ James Bradberry out against Browns after going on the COVID-19 list

The Giants lost one of their best players in another COVID-related issue.

Star cornerback James Bradberry will miss Sunday night’s game against the Browns after going on the reserve / COVID-19 list on Thursday.

Bradberry, 27, came into close contact with a person who tested positive for COVID-19 and is not affiliated with the Giants. The contact took place outside the team’s rehearsal room.

Earlier on Thursday, the Giants announced that offensive coordinator Jason Garrett tested positive for COVID-19 and that he will miss Sunday night’s game. Former Browns head coach Freddie Kitchens, the Giants’ tight coaches, will call off the offensive games against Cleveland.

Bradberry joined the Giants this year as a free agent on a $ 43.5 million three-year deal.
