Get free games and add-ons from Ubisoft and Epic All Week

My favorite part of the holiday is knowing that some game developers and distribution services will stop at nothing to get my attention. I am okay with the result marketing deluge, because it usually means I can spend about 15 minutes each day collecting treasure for about a week from free games, add-us, and other time-sensitive goodies.

I already have do this about once a week or so at the Epic Games Store and Amazon’s Prime Gaming, So it’s really not that hard to get the more hectic pace during the holiday. After all, free is free. And if you want to join me on my adventures, it couldn’t be easier.

First, you will want it visit Ubisoft Connect straight away. Every day, from yesterday (oops) to Saturday Dec. 19, Ubisoft releases some free thing. The company hasn’t specified exactly what you’re going to reward each day with, but the digital gifts range from in-game goodies (like yesterday ‘Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Rewards package”) To full, free titles. Don’t hold your breath for AAA games to make it your digital stocking, but to repeate, free is free. I never say no to a free gamebecause you never know when you might be inspired to play something new in your vast library.

For example, today Ubisoft offers a free copy of Starlink: Battle for Atlas. I’ve always wanted the title, but wasn’t really sold enough of it to buy it (or any physical accessories for it). Now that it’s free, I’m definitely going to invest some time in it in the coming weeks. Here’s the hope Slippy can hold it together.

After that, you’ll want to set a daily calendar reminder for Epic games. I’ve already talked about it the great role-playing games you should get for free now, emphasis, but that’s just the tip of the free iceberg. From Dec. 17, Epic is giving away a free game every day for two weeks. That is it. There is no catch; you just have a (free) Epic Games account. Once you add the free games to your library, they are yours forever.

Now it is important to adjust your expectations. No, you will not receive a copy of it Cyberpunk 2077, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, or another just-released $ 60 game. You will get some older titles, some meh titles and some interesting titles, but don’t expect to look like a bandit. Last year’s titles included:

  • Small Inferno
  • Celeste
  • Completely Accurate Battle Simulator
  • FTL: faster than light
  • Talos principle
  • Hello neighbour
  • Super hot

These are all good games, don’t get me wrong. They just aren’t, say, Immortals Fenyx Rising. E.If you don’t feel like playing right now, come by every day to add the free games to your library. You never know when to scratch itch for a particular title.

I have never heard of other gaming services that are done on a daily basis giveaways, but if anyone else starts to feel generous I’ll update this article with the details. Different, keep checking regular sources for free stuff, and you’ve got plenty to celebrate (and keep yourself entertained) during Quarantine holiday 2020.
