When it comes to characters in the popular free to play video game Genshin Impact from developer miHoYo, quite a few of them are quite young, have small physical frames, or both. Recently, Reddit user guessnorfiqri took this as a challenge to create bigger, outdated redesigns of a number of different characters from the title, and it’s made for quite an impressive fan art for a video game that already looks quite impressive.
In general, these are new versions of the Genshin Impact characters mainly seem to play with proportions to make different character models bigger in addition to switching hairstyles. It by no means represents a complete overhaul of what the actual experience of aging might look like, but it’s still fun to watch. You can check out the first significant batch of these “adult” character redesigns below. Razor, Bennett, Chongyun and Xingqiu can be seen from left to right.

Genshin Impact is currently available for free to play for the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, PC and mobile devices. The video game will eventually also be released for the Nintendo Switch. Version 1.2 “The Chalk Prince and the Dragon” update was recently released and added an all-new area, characters, events and more. The update to version 1.3 will be released on February 3rd.
