GameStop has joined the growing number of retailers those customers who have purchased fully refund Cyberpunk 2077, according to an internal memo acquired by Kotaku.

The memo instructs GameStop employees to accept Cyberpunk 2077 will return on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, even if the game is open, and will label the games as “Faulty” before returning them to the GameStop warehouse.

Kotaku has contacted GameStop for more information but has not heard from publication.

Under the company’s official returns policy, full refunds are typically only available on unopened products, making this new policy an uncommon exception. Customers who want to return Cyberpunk 2077 must still do this within 30 days of purchase.

Because of numerous problems with Cyberpunk 2077s achievements on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, retailers such as Best Buy, Sony and Microsoft have relaxed their return policies. Cyberpunk 2077 developer CD Projekt has also promised to refund dissatisfied players if they cannot get a refund elsewhere.
