As the year progresses, we are gradually hearing more and more announcements. Earlier today, we found out that Evo would take place online in August, and now Gamescom has provided new information on its own plans for 2021.
When it returns on August 24th, it will come in a new hybrid show format – with physical and digital elements. The physical part of the show will feature an on-site area where a limited number of visitors can try out new games live, while the rest can tune in online.
“This year we will focus on super fans and on-site testing of the latest games. At the same time, gamescom 2021 will again reach millions of people worldwide thanks to its further developed digital offering.”
