Whether it looks like yesterday or not is a matter of perspective, but Animal Crossing: New Horizons launched a year ago today.

And what a year it has been! Nintendo’s life simulation became an important coping mechanism for many people in 2020; a social outlet and a positive focal point for millions of players that the creators could not have imagined during development.

Now that we’ve fully run through all four seasons of the game and a full calendar year, we recently asked you to use the tag # ACNHYear1 and share images with us on Twitter – photos that best reflect your experience of the game over the last 365 days.
