And Gal Gadot has revealed that she was inspired by the real-life Princess Diana of the British Royal Family to play the character.
The 35-year-old actress told me Vanity Fair that the late Princess of Wales’s ‘compassion’ influenced how she approached the role.

She recalled that ‘there was a part where they said she always, she was compassionate and she always took care of the people’.
A bubble rang in Gal’s head and she decided, ‘That should be the Wonder Woman we have, and it fully communicates what you just said about the compassion because you know I wanted to portray a character that people will, you know , are inspired by, but can also relate to. ‘
While Princess Diana was married to Prince Charles, she became known for her widespread display of tenderness, such as hugging a child with AIDS.
