Gabriel Soto, main protagonist of Do you remember me?, came out in defense of those who blamed her co-star Fátima Molina for the melodrama’s turbulent beginning stellar from Televisa and denied the versions that indicate a change in the schedule due to a significant drop in the rating.

A few days ago, it was said in a radio space that the production of Carmen Armendáriz is in danger because it has not had the expected public acceptance, mainly due to the physical appearance of the female protagonist, Fátima Molina.

The actress was unaware of the issue and assured that if it were true it would be due to an issue of public discrimination, but now it was Gabriel Soto who came out in defense of the telenovela and his partner before Do you remember me?

When asked about the changes in chapters, schedule, or channel of the melodrama, Soto was blunt: “No not at all.”

Soto always supported his co-star and the same production under the direction of Carmen Armendariz.

“But when that gets real, How sad that in these times it is impossible for some to break with the stereotypes that you as an audience continue to emphasize in front of television. If this is true, discrimination will have to be tackled. Hopefully one day we will open our minds and see diversity in all its aspects on our screens, ”he added.

And he took the opportunity to send a message of self-love: “I’m not perfect, I know. But who is? I like myself and I accept myself, that’s the most important thing ”.
