The February 2021 lineup of PlayStation Plus freebies is now available to PS5 and PS4 users. We’ve known one of the upcoming free games since the launch of the PS5: Destruction AllStars, which was originally set to release alongside the console, is available to PS Plus subscribers this month. The vehicle fighting game is a PS5 exclusive and joins Concrete Genie and Control: Ultimate edition, the latter of which has just received its free PS5 upgrade. All three games can be claimed starting today, February 2.
Destruction AllStars is an online multiplayer title developed by Lucid Games. Players take control of one of 16 playable characters, each of which has their own vehicle with unique weapons and moves. As the title suggests, the goal is to zip through the arena and destroy your opponents’ vehicles. If your vehicle is destroyed, you will be able to fight on foot, understandably making it more difficult to emerge victorious. Destruction AllStars is free to subscribers until April 5.
Control: Ultimate EditionThe PS5 version was released on February 2, the same day it became free to PS Plus subscribers. It is available for both PS4 and PS5 users. The Ultimate edition comes with both DLC packs, and PS5 owners get a free upgrade that lets you play in two different modes: Performance and Graphics. In Performance mode, the game runs at 60 frames per second and in graphics mode at 30 frames per second with ray tracing. Remedy Entertainment’s great action adventure earned an 8/10 in our Control review, and we’ve added a section with thoughts on Control’s new PS5 upgrade.

Concrete Genius is an action adventure game starring Ash, a young boy who happens to come across a brush that turns his scribbles into reality. It earned a 7/10 in GameSpot’s Concrete Genie review for its colorful art style and charming story.
