The fiercest race in the world, Exatlón USA, made a big comeback to Telemundo with a new season that premiered on Tuesday, January 26. With more drama, euphoria, pain and excitement, 24 athletes are ready to give their all in a tough showdown to win over a million dollars in prizes. This season, the Famous Team (Red Team) and the Contending Team (Blue Team) consist of a combination of newcomers looking for glory in addition to some participants returning for a second chance at the title. The intense reality show for the whole family will feature surprising circuits that test the physical and mental capacities of the participants in the biggest challenge of their lives. In this fifth edition, Frederik Oldenburg is welcomed as a driver, accompanied by sports reporter Marisela “Chelly” Cantú.
12 new athletes and 12 warriors returning from glory
In the fifth season of Exatlon USA, 24 athletes, 12 brand new warriors and 12 will return for a rematch that could seal their fate. The six athletes returning to Team Contendientes are: Kelvin Renteria, Rafa “El Brujo” Soriano, Octavio “Tavo” González, Denisse “La Pantera” Novoa, Gaba Del Mar and Raquel Becker.
In their turn, Team Famosos returns: Mack Roesch, Jacobo García, Norma Palafox, Nicole Regnier, Eric Alejandro and Brenda Castro.
Frank Beltre: A Soccer Champion
This professional American football player, who is part of the new faces of season five, is 30 years old and was born in Azua, Dominican Republic and was awarded a scholarship to play American football at Towson University. After graduation, he signed with the San Diego Chargers NFL team and later with the Oakland Raiders. Today he is a free agent.
Are “4 women”
Ever since Frank came to the Exatlon arenas in the United States, he has confessed to being a very famous man and ensures that he has “4 wives”.
“I always say I have 4 wives, but you have to wait for the reason of my 4 wives, they are my two sisters, my mother and my niece.”
