Capcom has launched the highly anticipated demo for the upcoming Nintendo Switch release Monster Hunter Rise.
Now that the download issues in the eShop have been resolved, VG Tech – the same YouTube channel that researched the performance of the demos offers Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity and Pikmin 3 Deluxe – watched the new Monster Hunter entry. It confirms that the game is running at a stable 30fps (in docked and handheld mode) even at more intense moments.
As for resolution, here’s the breakdown courtesy of the same channel:
In docked mode, the game is displayed at a resolution of approximately 1344×756 and the user interface at 1920×1080.
Portable mode renders the game at approximately 960×540 resolution and the user interface at 1280×720.
It’s worth noting that the demo may not be entirely representative of the final release, which will be out on March 26 of this year. How have you found the frame rate and resolution in the Monster Hunter Rise demo so far? Leave a comment below.
