Four Seasons Total Landscaping Owner Shares Experience In Super Bowl Ad – CBS Philly

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – A small Philadelphia company that rose to fame in the 2020 presidential election got another dose of fame on Super Bowl Sunday. Four Seasons Total Landscaping in Holmesburg first received national attention in November when then-presidential adviser Rudy Giuliani accidentally chose it as the setting for a high-profile press conference.

“We were just people, ordinary people caught in an extraordinary situation,” said owner and CEO Marie Siravo.

Siravo had prepared to hand over the nearly 30-year-old company to her son Michael. But she could never have predicted what would happen next.

Fiverr, a global company that connects businesses with freelancers, asked her to star in its very first Super Bowl commercial.

“We are so proud to have her in our Super Bowl ad and that it is helping her business,” said Duncan Bird, Fiverr’s vice president of brand.

The ad pokes fun at Four Seasons’ casual brush of fame, and while Siravo had no previous acting experience, she comes across as a natural.

“The director was so great that I would say my line, and he would say, ‘Marie, I need that a little bit more, I need that a little bit more, I need that a little bit more attitude.’ I’m from South Philadelphia, that wasn’t really difficult for me, ”she said.

“Is this the lobby?” a woman asks in the ad. “This is not a hotel!” Siravo shouts back with a funny nod to the Giuliani confusion.

While the place has had a lot of laughs, it’s emotional for Siravo, who said it will have a lasting impact on the legacy she’ll leave when she retires, knowing that her business is as strong as ever.

“Fiverr has made sure of that,” she said. “My grandchildren will remember me, will remember me when I’m not there, and I’m lucky to have my kids to continue my dream.”

After three months of whirlwind since that infamous press conference, Siravo is going on a well-deserved vacation.
