Faced with false information being shared on social networks about an apparent total shutdown and / or changes to the executive order, we would like to clarify that any information related to the pandemic or changes to the executive order will be communicated only by official means. , as always has happened, ”said Angleró Mojica through written statements.
“The Governor indicated that he will continue to monitor the situation and if there is any determination, people will be notified. We will continue to seek the cooperation of everyone to comply with the Executive Order and health protocols. Curfew is at 10pm. and the shops and restaurants must close at 9 pm, ”he added.
The statements came hours after the governor reported that, given the increase in the number of cases, he would not rule out further restrictions.
“Given the increase in COVID-19 cases, we are strengthening the integrated strategy against the pandemic. The Department of Health is continuing the vaccination process without a break and has implications for all sectors of Puerto Rico, ”said the director at the time.
