ORANGE COUNTY, Florida – Former Boston Red Sox outfielder Johnny Damon was arrested in Orange County along with his wife on Friday morning and is facing multiple charges, including drunk driving.
Damon was arrested by Windermere police at around 8.15am and charged with drunk driving and non-violent resistance to an officer. At the same time, his wife Michelle Mangan-Damon was arrested and charged with assault on a law enforcement officer.
Data shows that Damon had a blood alcohol level of 0.20.
Damon and his wife, Orlando residents, are being held in the Orange County Department of Corrections.
