Former Presidents Obama, Bush and Clinton share the message of unity for President Biden

Former Presidents Barack Obama, George W. Bush and Bill Clinton wished newly minted President Joe Biden success in his new role with a moving video that aired Wednesday night.

The former presidents gathered at the Memorial Amphitheater at Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, Virginia, to record the warm message to Biden, who aired during the inauguration special ‘Celebrating America’.

“Mr. President, I am pulling for your success. Your success is the success of our country and God bless you,” Bush said in the video.

“I’m glad you’re here and I wish you the best,” said Clinton. “You spoke to us today, now you are going to lead for us and we are ready to march with you. Good luck. God bless you.”

“Joe, I am proud of you,” Obama said of his former vice president. “You and Kamala need to know that we are all here rooting for your success, holding you in our prayers, and as citizens we will be available in every way we can to help you move our country forward. We wish you a lot of Godspeed. “

Notably absent was former President Donald Trump, who declined to attend Biden’s inauguration ceremony.

Instead, he chose to hold a farewell event at Joint Base Andrews in Maryland early Wednesday. Trump and his family got off Air Force One for the last time when they landed in Palm Beach, Florida, his new permanent residence.
