On March 3, the Miami-Dade Police Department’s Secret Service and detectives went to Phelps’ residence to attempt to interview her, but she refused to speak to them at the time, according to the complaint.

“Two days later, I received a call from Phelps complaining that her employer had put her on administrative leave,” the complaint read.

On March 6, a Secret Service agent went to her home to talk to Phelps.

According to the complaint, Phelps said: “She was angry at the time that Kamala Harris became vice president, but that she is now ‘over’. Phelps expressed that she believes Kamala Harris is not really ‘black’ and how Kamala Harris during the inauguration disrespectfully put her hand on her purse instead of the Bible.
