Florida restaurant goes viral with ‘no face diapers required’ sign

A Florida restaurant drew attention on social media on Valentine’s Day with a post promoting the “ no need for face diapers ” sign that welcomed customers without masks into the establishment.

In a Sunday on Facebook that was shared hundreds of times, the restaurant owners wrote, “Howdy Folks! Happy Valentine’s Day. A friendly reminder that we DO NOT need face masks.”

The restaurant, located in Spring Hill, Florida, does not violate mask orders by admitting guests without masks, such as the state governor, Ron DeSantisRon DeSantis Gaetz suggests DeSantis could become president in 2024 if Trump is no longer in the picture. (R), opposed the implementation of a statewide mandate and prevented local councils from enforcing their mandate with fines.

The comments section of the post quickly fell into chaos, with most readers responding with “angry” comments and duels over the need for mask requirements.

“We get a lot of feedback, both positive and negative,” said Jesse Fox, the owner of the restaurant, in an interview with a local news channel.

“I don’t feel like I’m going against the grain. I feel like I’m using common sense, ”added Fox.

The number of new COVID-19 cases in Florida is declining after reaching a peak in early January; the state has confirmed more than 1.8 million infections since the start of the pandemic.
