Fix the controller disconnect error on your Xbox Series X / S

Microsoft is finally fixing the pesky controller breaking bug that has plagued the Xbox Series X / S since launch, and tThe patch was included in March 2021 firmware update will be rolled out this week.   1. Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide menu.
  2. Go to Profile and system> Settings> System> Updates.
  3. Select “Console update available” to download the new version. As it says “No console update available,” then your Xbox already has the latest firmware.
