Five films based on books due out in 2021

“Cruella”

“Cruella”, for example, is a movie that was expected in December 2020, but had to postpone the premiere for the next one May 18, 2021, because of the pandemic. The story is based on the villain from the book “101Dalmatians” and will play the actress Emma Stone, who excitedly showed her new “look” for this interpretation of the 2019 Disney Exhibition show.

“Pinocchio”

The premiere of the film about the little doll child will be through Netflix and although it is based on the fanciful children’s story, it takes on new meaning under the direction of director Guillermo del Toro, who makes his debut in animated films with this film. “Death on the Nile”

Based on the novel of the same name, by the writer Agatha Christie, this plot tells the story of a private investigator who is on vacation in Egypt to find a murderer. “Dune”

Directed by Denis Villeneuve This fictional film sketches a distant future for humanity. It is the first of two films based on a new revised version of the novel of the same name written by the American Frank Herbert, which won a Hugo Award in 1966, making it recognized as one of the best science fiction works. It will be a star Timothée Chalamet, Zendaya, Rebecca Ferguson and Dave Bautista, among other things.

“One Hundred Years of Solitude”
