Five Dominicans on the list of nominees for the Latin American Music Awards

The list of nominees for the Latin American Music Awards, returning in 2021 after being canceled last year due to the coronavirus pandemic, includes several Dominican artists.

Alex Bueno, Romeo Santos, Prince Royce, Natti Natasha and Juan Luis Guerra are the Creoles nominated this year, with Colombians Karol G and J Balvin topping the list with nine nominations each.

The Latin American Music Awards ceremony, for its sixth edition, will be broadcast live on Telemundo on Thursday, April 15 from the BB&T Center in Sunrise, Florida.

This year’s Latin AMA nominations are based on streaming, sales, broadcast and social activity data as analyzed by Billboard through its allies MRC Data and Next Big Sound, from January 17, 2020 to January 21, 2021.
