The United Nations (UN) announced by the latest edition of the World Happiness Report 2021 the happiest countries in the world despite the Covid-19 pandemic.
The variables used to determine the happiness level of the populations of these countries vary from the equation ofl gross domestic product (GDP) per capita, social assistance, life expectancy, individual freedoms and perception against corruption.
The first places are mainly occupied by the European countries in the Scandinavian region. Below is the list:
